Connecting You with God and One Another

The Community Bible Reading Journal is a tool that guides us into a deeper relationship with God through His Word and one another in His Word daily. Each day in the journal day we Surrender through Prayer, Listen to the Scriptures, Pray through our Pen, and Prepare for Gospel Community

The Reading Schedule helps us get on the same page. While we travel through the NT every year and the OT every 3 years, the goal is not to read through the Bible in a certain amount of time. The goal is to connect with God and one another today!

Get The THE Journal

Want to participate? The first step is to get your hands on a CBR Journal. We have free copies available at MSBC and would love for you to pick one up next time you are in the building. We literally have them laying around the building for the taking! If you have trouble finding one, let almost anyone in the building know and they will be able to point you in the right direction.

USE The Journal

The CBR Journal Reading Schedule covers the entire New Testament every year and the entire Old Testament every three years. The daily Journaling Guide also prompts participants through prayers of adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication in response to the reading for the day—God speaks through his Word, we respond in prayer.

Join a Group

A CBR Journal Group is a group of participants who covenant to interact daily in regards to how God impacted them the most in their private Bible reading. The most effective CBR Journal Groups are groups of 4-6 men or 4-6 women who use text messages to bear witness to what God did in their heart that morning.

Enjoy Community

The CBR Journal puts our community into the same passage. The CBR Journal helps each of us rehearse the Gospel (the Word of Christ) so what we can exhort one another to faith in Christ. Finally, the CBR Journal encourages us to create a simple idea that we can share with one another to get the conversation started.
