Discipleship Groups

At Monte Sano Baptist Church, it is important to us that we are teaching people what it means to really follow Jesus Christ—not to just say, “I am a Christian,” but to really follow Jesus Christ. And that is exactly what our Discipleship Groups are all about.

The truth is, biblical discipleship does not happen automatically, and it does not happen in isolation. Therefore it is essential for every follower of Jesus Christ to develop strong relationships with fellow believers. Our discipleship groups are meant to encourage relationships where mature believers help younger believers grow in their faith.

By coming together every week as a group, and exploring the life and teachings of Jesus contained in the pages of Scripture, we help and encourage one another, to not only become more devoted followers of Jesus Christ, but to also become disciples who make disciples.

We hope that you will join us every Sunday night at 5:30 p.m. Currently we have a women’s group meeting at the Tidmore house at 3504 Carroll Circle, a men’s group meeting at the Elam house at 4336 Chickasaw Drive, and a youth group meeting in our youth room at 605 Monte Sano Blvd. Childcare is available in our Activity Building.
